I used these supplies:  SU, Paper Source, Bic Mark It and Copic markers, My Favorite Things Western Charms and Spellbinders dies, Offray ribbon, and Tombow adhesive.

Corn Country

Hello, Friends.  I've recently returned from what I call "corn country".  The circumstance was a sad one, but I was happy to see my DH's family and visit our cousin's farm.  Looking outside the windows, I was struck by the beauty of the corn fields in every direction.  It inspired my design team card for the {PIN}spirational Challenges this week.   The image is from Delicious Doodles.

My paper came from Stampin Up' and Paper Source, the dies are from Quickutz and Spellbinders, and the herringbone embossing folder from Cuttlebug reminded me of the rows in the field.  Raffia and Tombow adhesive finished off the card.

Kitty, Kitty....

When I was a child, I was allergic to cats.  I thought that was still the case until last night when our neighbor's cat adopted me while we waited for dinner.  No sneezing or coughing no matter how much I petted Snoopy.  So it is fitting that today I have a kitty card from SK Digis to share with you.  It is for Sonia's Linky Party and I will receive a free digi for using this first free digi.  Cool beans!  So here's my card that follows her sketch and you will see it uses designer papers, dry embossing, and I used Bic MarkIts to color the image.  Thanks for stopping by!

Adjust Your Sails!

When you hear the song "Sail Away" by Randy Newman, Enya, or Chris De Burgh, what do you think of?  Are you sailing into a new school year?  A new marriage?  A new stage of your life?  Another great day?  Although I have never been sailing, there is something about seeing a sailboat riding the waves that is quite inspiring.

Well then, it's time for a happy image from SK Digis.  Today's image became an instant favorite. Hello again!  Inspired by photos, I created a card using a wooden domino from the dollar store for the snake image. and SU images.  I used SU card stock and Staz-On black ink.  I will enter this in the MFP Inspirational Challenge #27.  Hope you enjoyed my card and that it will inspire you to create a project as well!  Stop by again!

Shifting Light

Hello, Friends.  In NC, fall is in the air.  Even though the temperatures are reaching the high 70's, the shadows are longer and the sun has shifted.  The light seems filtered and looks lovely coming from that different angle.  How quickly it changes!  So to get you in the spirit of the fall season, I have a different sort of project to share with you today--an altered clipboard.  I chose to make the project very subtle, just like the changes I am observing each day.  No changing of colors, you understand, just the lovely lighting. But I was inspired by a Bearly Mine color challenge and used them all!

It was difficult to get a photo showing the glitter and shine of the piece.
Supplies:  acrylic and metallic paints--about 7 colors,  Spellbinders dies and EK Success punches for leaves, Shelly's Digital Image of a pumpkin, TAC Rubber Stamp leaves, and Mod Podge.

Inspire Someone

Hello, Friends!  I have a gatefold easel card to share with you today for our {PIN}spirational Challenge this week.  It uses a darling image from one of our sponsors this week  Bugaboo Stamps.

I used Paper Source card stock, Colorbok designer paper.  I wish you could see the glitter on the flowers.  

I used Martha Stewart, Stampin Up', Quickutz, and Cheery Lynn dies and punches

The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and it's all held together with Tombow adhesive.

Leaves--100 Days of Tombow

Hello, Friends!  Today's card uses some new materials I received from Tombow for their 100 Days of Tombow celebration.  I used their Craft Collection dual brush water-based markers titled Grunge and their Irojiten Deep Tone 1 colored pencils.  Tombow's dual brush markers have a wonderful tip for detailed dots as you can see around the leaf.

The leaf image is from Rubber Stampede.  It is not a new stamp but is new to me.  The purple leaf is a EK Success punch.  I have a lot of their punches and love them!

Supplies:  SU and Paper Source card stock,  Rubber Stampede image, EK Success leaf punch, Martha Stewart Leaf Edge punch, Tombow Dual Brush Markers--Grunge, Irojiten Deep Tone 1 colored pencils, Tombow adhesive.
