Poinsettia Faux Stained Glass
Hi, Friends! I'm here to share a project using the Faux Stained Glass technique. It's a challenge for the MFP 12 Days of Christmas and you can find out all about it HERE. I used a large poinsettia background stamp for this technique. I hope you like it!
Let It Snow Journal #4
Hello, Friends. I have another decorated journal to share with you. I'm entering it in the MFP 12 Days of Christmas. After I received a vintage Sizzix snowman die, I just knew I would use it on this journal cover. I love that he looks all bundled up in his scarf. When I paint the snowflakes with Glue 'n Seal, this journal will be ready to travel north.
Journal #3 Flowers for a Friend
Covering composition books is a lot of fun and as an ex-teacher I have a few on hand. This journal goes to a friend who is flower-happy. I think she will like it and add more elements of her own. Her favorite colors are used in the designer paper and she loves those Martha Stewart corner punch medallions. Check out the Day 1 entry at Mark's Finest Papers HERE for the information and tutorial for this crafty project.
Journal #2 w/Tag
Hello again! I'm here with another Journal Cover, this time for a friend who likes vintage clean-and-simple, if there is such a thing. She may choose to add some embellishments and I may put a few inside her gift package. This project is for the MFP 12 Days of Christmas that you can find HERE and they provide a tutorial as well. Try one!
EIGHT Fridays to Christmas
Yes, you heard me correctly, Friends, there are only 8 Fridays until Christmas! We've got to get going on our holiday projects and Mark's Finest Papers/Speedy TV is going to help us get started with their 12 Days of Christmas projects. You will notice that many of my future posts will have the project name and a number to tell you that I have uploaded a project to the MFP site which you can find HERE. Today I will share a Decorated Journal Cover and you can find a tutorial HERE. I am sorry the extra embossing and paper treatments don't show up in the photo. I always craft with someone in mind but I can't tell you who will receive this because she reads my blog!

Pumpkin Time
I have another card to share today. It's a card inspired by a DT Tuesday Throwdown challenge called Pumpkin Patch using some bling from Freckled Fawn. When my die-cutting machine decided to spew handle parts across my studio, I panicked. Could I make a card without embossing one or more layers? I waited as long as I could for my new machine to arrive and then started the card you see below. Hope you like it! And I hope it will inspire you to join us for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge. Get out those pumpkin images and create something "fall-ish!"
Supplies: kraft cardstock, SU pumpkin images, designer papers, Offray ribbon, Spellbinders dies, Freckled Fawn bling, Tombow adhesive.

Simple Simon
Hello, again! Remember stair step cards before they were center steps and side step cards? They were just accordion folded steps! Well, today I put on my DT hat for this week's challenge and chose a simple stair step fold that will grace the bedside table of a friend in the hospital. I used bling from Freckled Fawn to complete my design. So hop on over to the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge and think pumpkin patches for creating your project.

Wicked Pumpkin
Hi there again! Putting on my DT hat to share a card with you for the Tuesday Throwdown challenge blog. Just click on the title and enter your card using fall colors for a chance to win. So be thinking orange, rust, yellow, green....you know the list.
When you're a native Floridian and think of fall, you think of Halloween. It's still usually pretty warm at that time and you don't see changing colors. So mid-October, we drag out our pumpkins, scarecrows, colored leaves and all the other symbols of fall so we can share the season with friends farther north.
Wicked Pumpkin, as I fondly refer to him, uses an image from Robyn's Fetish, our wonderful sponsor. The papers are from Colorbok and Debbie Mum, Su, and the Paper Source. The dies is from the Quickutz Label It set. I used Bic Mark It markers to color the image boldly so it would stand out against the colorful papers, and Tombow adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by!
