Coffee Cup Greeting to You

Hello Friends and new followers!  Nice to have you stop by again.  Today's card is from Deedee's Digis and it's a set I am sure to use over and over.  I'm wearing my DT hat today to bring you an image from a set called Coffee Cup Greetings that you can see more of HERE.  I love all the different cups and the sentiments are perfect for every occasion, and since we are all thinking "Pink and Red Hearts Day" soon, I chose the Love You sentiment from the set because it will fit every situation.  You will want to pop over and enter Deedee's Progressive Challenge to win the Digi of the Month.  It's a cutie but I can't disclose any information.  So here's my card.

Sweet Tooth- {PIN} #92

Hello, Friends!  Welcome new followers!   It's time for another challenge at {PIN}spirational Challenges.  You will want to check out our inspirational photo, but I will give you a hint--cupcakes!

 My card uses an image from Whoopsi Daisy.  The tea party image seemed to fit the inspiration photo so well.  I am imagining this sweet child looking at all of us and offering us an imaginary cupcake to enjoy with our imaginary tea.  

Did you have a tiny tea set when you were a child?  My next door neighbor Teddy would invite me over and bring out the tiniest of porcelain tea sets.  She would give me a lesson of how to make fudge and then we would sit and sip on weak tea and nibble our fudge.  To this day, I can't eat fudge without thinking of how nice it was to have Teddy take time to share her tiny tea set with me.  And, recently my husband wondered why I purchased a miniature tea set at a local flea market, I couldn't help thinking that some impulse buys have such wonderful memories...

 The sweet image was colored with Promarkers, the sentiment is from Hampton Arts clear stamps, the dies are Spellbinders, and the embossing folder is from Provocraft/Cuttlebug.

I Am a Glitter Girl Today

 Hello!  And welcome new followers!  Today I have a wonderful Valentine's Day or love image to share with you.  I am lucky enough to be on the  Deedee's Digis DT and this image couldn't be more appropriate for sending love to anyone ANY time of the year.  I am a glitter girl today!   Here's my card:



 I used the  dryer sheet technique and somehow with all the flashing and side lights, I still had to take a close up to show you all the sparkle.  I hope my camera teaches me how to use it soon, LOL!

Black and White Chicken

Welcome Friends!  Today's card is a black and white card  for the and I used a chicken image from Mark's Finest Papers for a challenge at Speedy TV/Friends of Speedy TV .I am eating a lot of egg white omelets on my new healthy eating plan and so eggs and chickens are on my mind every morning.  Hope you like it.

May 2014 Bring You Wealth...

 Today's card is a black and white card based on the MFP/Speedy TV Oriental Sketch Challenge.  I used a MFP sentiment from the Wealth in Friendship mini set to bring us wealth in the new year.   I'm hoping that Oriental butterfly stamp set will be flying in my direction very soon!  Oh dear, I think I have to retake the photo so that the sentiment goes up and down?  Sorry!

I'm a Teamie for Deedee's Digis and we're having a blog hop!


Hello, Friends!   I have an exciting announcement to make--I am now a happy member of the Deedee's Digis Design Team.  I'm so excited to be working with Deedee's images.  I joined the progressive challenge one month and I was totally hooked.  I  can't wait to share her designs with you, and  we have a great team waiting to inspire you!

Men and Their Cars --{PIN} 90

Hello, Friends!  Hope this post finds you in good spirits and well on your way to wonderful things in 2014.  It's time for another challenge at {PIN}spirational Challenges.  Here's my card:

Deanne has chosen an interesting photo to inspire us all!  I love the warm hues of this photos, the vintage auto and sign, but then my mind, as always, began to free associate....
When I saw the image, my mind wandered from vintage autos to men tinkering with their toys and I settled on an image from Digi Darla.  You can find her wonderful images HERE because she is sure to have some image that will fit wherever your mind will wander.  And now the project inspired by the picture.  

I challenged myself to work from the ''basket" as I call the conglomeration of bits and pieces that accumulate on my work counter.  I colored the image with Promarkers and used Spellbinders dies.  I never seem to have enough masculine cards in my completed pile so this will be a welcome addition to my stash.  I think the recipient will think of "happy days" with their favorite cars, when they received their first car and celebrated...
