Peace be with you!  It's time to share a project for the Oriental Sketch Challenge    Here is my card using the set called Lanterns.  Spellbinders dies and Twinkling H20's are two favorites that brought it all together.  Aqua and brown are wonderful together!  This card would make a lovely wedding, anniversary, or birthday card.

Today I am sharing a card using a new set from Daydream Designs by Diane.  This month she has many new releases.   One of my favorites is a darling country set called Simply Eggstraordinary Sentiments.  The sentiment and image reminded me of my weekly stamping group.  We get together and just cluck and chuckle the whole time we are creating.  I hope this card made you smile!

It's Tuesday Throwdown Time!

It's time for the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge and I just know you're going to want to participate this week.  My card uses  MyGrafico images of the cutest dinosaurs.  I couldn't choose just one so I created a scene--of sorts.  Hope you like it and I hope you will be able to join us at the challenge.

It's time to share a Doodle Pantry progressive challenge entry.  My card, Outta Sight!, is destined for a guy I know who once had a car just like this one.  The theme is "make it manly" and what could be more manly than jute, diamond plate embossing, and a car image.  Stop in and play along!

Lifted Up Through Prayer

Hello!  There are so many happy sights to enjoy and a hot air balloon is one of them.  

The colors of the balloons and the feeling of freedom 

soaring up in the sky are so uplifting.   

My card today celebrates being lifted up through prayer. 

The sentiment would make this card a perfect get well, sympathy, or thinking of you card.

A Man You Can Look Up To

Greetings!  The card I have to share with you today is a Father's Day card.  It's an image from a set called Dapper Dad from Daydream Designs by Diane.  My Dad worked in an office and wore a shirt and tie every day for work.  It was in the days of white dress shirts and somber ties, but he always left early for the office,  smelling of Old Spice cologne, and wearing a freshly starched and ironed shirt carefully prepared by my Mom.  How times have changed--with "casual Fridays,"  plaid ties, colorful shirts!

It's time for another Tuesday Throwdown.  This week our sponsor is Fred She Said and the theme is "special man."  I always think of my special guys during June and my card is a thank you for a special guy.  My special guy has a white truck but I thought an image of a truck would be the perfect image, and I love blue and brown together for masculine cards.  Embossing with masculine folders --diamond plate, wood grain, and argyle--and the card came together.  Join us this week for a great challenge!

Give a Man a Tool and He Will Rebuild the World

Today I have a card to share from Daydream Designs.  The set is called Tool Time and is such a great set for "guy" cards.  Lucky me!  I have a DH who has many talents and skills and is a great handyman and problem solver.  This card fits him to a T--T square, of course, and wrench, screwdriver, hammer.....you get the idea!

Standing Z Card / CC 26

Hello!  I am happy to share my project for the Color Challenge # 26 at Mark's Finest Papers/Speedy TV challenges.  Each week we will pick a color or series of colors for you to use on your card, scrapbook page, or other paper craft.   It is easy to enter and easy to win a prize and you can enter up to 5 different projects.  

This week's colors are:

pink

Here's my card using a set called Great Flowers.  I used Twinkling H2O's to add extra shine to the black heat embossed image.  It looks SO sparkly in person!

This is a fancy fold card called a Standing Z Card.  Here is another photo:

If you would like to make this card, the directions are simple.  

Cut a piece of card stock 4 1/2 inches by 11 inches.  

Score at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2 inches.  

Fold mountain, then valley using the photo as a guide.  The 5 1/2 inch section is the back of the card.  

Cut a piece of card stock 4 x 5 1/4 inches and layer and decorate as you choose.  

Create a "stop" or "catch" with a label, flower, bling, etc., popped up so that the finished front panel will "catch" under the "stop."  

Easy!
