A Shell in Your Pocket
Sandy beaches, sun-drenched skies, ice blue oceans...Today I've used an image from Deedee's Digis set called "Seashells." We're all thinking beach time this summer and this set is perfect. I love the sentiment and images in this set. Here's my card...
Don't forget to join in on Deedee's Progressive Challenge? If you create a project using the DOM (Digi of the Month), you get the next month's image FREE. Lots of freebies on the site as well. Time is running out!

My Guardian Angel
The theme at Speedy Fox and Friends this week is "musical." I chose an image from the You Are An Angel set. I cut out the stamped image, applied some glitter to the wings and only colored the face and horn. I used a pendant punched out with a Martha Stewart corner punch and used a punch for the label. All the elements are mounted on the Allegro embossed layer. I'll bet you have a friend who is your guardian angel on earth too, don't you.

Crafty Coneflower for SFF
This is my second post today! I'm doubling up to have fun at MFP.
Do you own an acrylic block? Do you have re-inkers or ink pads? Then you are going to enjoy joining us at the Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge this week. You create a background by using an acrylic block to apply inks to your card. I used a Mark's Finest Papers image called Coneflower for the focal point after creating two layers using the technique. I popped up one layer and used embossing and dies to create some differences in the layers. So now it's time for you to get inky and join us!

Better in the Country
You're found A Fourth Life again! I live in the country, on the "outskirts," as we say in the south. I love the new sets from Diane's Daydream Designs that have a homespun, country feel to them. On this card, I created an inchies quilt-like border from Diane's papers and an image/sentiment from the Simply Eggstraordinary Sentiments set. Adding my favorite flower finished the project.
You can see Diane's lovely work on the Wednesday Word Art Challenge or at the Diane's Daydream Design Blog or you can pop over to her blog.

The Art of Baking
I am ready to bake! I found the longest pair of oven mitts I have ever seen and I am determined not to have my forearms burned taking yummies out of the oven. My images and sentiments today come from Diane's Daydream Designs, a set called "The Art of Baking." I love flip cards so I used a new die for this card.
The inside of the card carries a cute message:
So I'll be donning my new oven mitts and creating something wonderful in chocolate soon!
